This webinar is a short, hands-on, interactive workshop that will break down a specific opportunity and help you form a response to a Sources Sought notification. If your company supports NAICS 541990, or other related NAICS, then you should attend.
The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) is the U.S. Department of Energy’s primary national laboratory for renewable energy and energy efficiency research and development. NREL develops renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies and practices, advances related science and engineering, and transfers knowledge and innovations to address the nation’s energy and environmental goals.
Produce a narratively and visually compelling corporate history to document NREL’s 35+ years in order to retain historical knowledge, educate the public and private sectors about NREL, and promote the many accomplishments of the lab and its research. The history will be disseminated via multiple mechanisms to reach the largest possible audience. Possible mechanisms include NREL.gov, an interactive digital sign directed at visitors, and a mobile application optimized for tablets.
Content for the project will be distilled from existing organization documents, a/v materials, and archives, as well as via interviews and oral histories with key laboratory personnel. From the existing materials and interviews, information will be researched, evaluated, and organized into meaningful and relevant stories. To complement these stories, short videos will be produced from interviews with former and current NREL employees. The stories, including the tools used to present them, will be developed in such a way that NREL will have the capability to update and maintain the information going forward.
